about:me

Hi there! I’m a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Artist with a love for bold colors, clever branding, and a healthy dose of humor. My creative toolbox includes everything from logos and posters to packaging and print—and I always sprinkle a little inspiration (and caffeine) into every project. Born in the charming village of Fodele in 1974, I studied Graphic Arts and have been living and creating in Heraklion, Crete since 1998. Along the way, I co-founded the creative team “Poseidonos 21” and served as Art Director for venues like “Polis Cultural Space” and the underground hotspot “Pagopoieion First Floor Events.” Basically, if it involves design and a splash of eccentricity—I’m in.

Over the years, I’ve hosted solo exhibitions like “This is Ear Life” and “Proverb You, Proverb Me,” and participated in a colorful mix of group shows from “Think Clean” to international jazz meetups and everything in between. Whether I’m working on a campaign, doodling on a napkin, or contemplating the perfect shade of magenta, I bring heart, humor, and a slightly obsessive attention to detail to the table. Design isn’t just what I do—it’s how I see the world. Let’s make something unforgettable (and maybe a little weird) together!
My name is Kosta. RollaKosta!

“Be a better person / Help as many as you can” lives inside a yin-yang, but not the one you’re used to. This circle isn’t smooth—it’s a mosaic of small, shifting pieces, like life itself always in motion. The balance tips boldly: the white side swells to seventy percent, pushing forward, overcoming, reminding us that goodness isn’t passive—it grows, expands, wins. The black side still remains, grounding and necessary, but it’s the light that leads. Beneath it all, the phrase anchors the image, clear and steady: a call to rise a little higher, to give a little more. This isn’t philosophy trapped in geometry—it’s a symbol of becoming, of choosing better, of carrying others with you as you climb. A circle of change, a mantra of motion.

Social Creatures

The series “social creatures” brings together 32 visual designs (from visualised world-plays to social art) I created over the past five years, between 2020 to today. These works form a personal narrative—internal and introspective, yet open to others. Until now, they lived a quiet, almost secret life, existing only briefly on my personal social media accounts—sometimes just for a few hours or days. For the first time, they are gathered, printed, and shared  in  a  physical  space,  finally  exposed  to  the  viewer’s  gaze.

The source of these images is dual in nature: light and dark moments from my own journey. They are shaped by joy, doubt, pain, loss, and inspiration—translated into visuals that oscillate between openness and introspection. These illustrations act as mirrors of inner experience and will always remind me the exact moment of the inspiration and the lesson . While rooted in personal emotion, they often seem to carry something universal—something that others can recognize as part of their own story.
